1. Cubs
Season: Sep–Jun 1–2 practices/week

Stroke refinement, intro to diving, and development in all four competitive strokes. Individualized challenges ensure steady progress. Families choose 1 or 2 practices per week; September–June commitment.

2. Stroke Development Team
Ages 6+ Season: Sep–Jun 1–2 practices/week

For swimmers who can swim 25y Freestyle, Backstroke, and one other stroke. ~1 hour structured instruction. Focus on stroke refinement, turns, all four strokes, and diving; individualized progress.

3. Age Group Team (AGT)
Ages 7+ Season: Sep–Jun 1–2 or 3–4 practices/week

Entry for swimmers who can swim 50y of each stroke, 100 IM, 100 Free, and use equipment. Includes stroke refinement, flip turns, racing starts, and intro to aerobic training.

4. Select Age Group Team (SAG)
Ages 8+ • Coach Approved Season: Sep–Jun 1–2 or 3–4 practices/week Minimum 3 meets/season

For swimmers who can swim 50y of each stroke, 100 IM, and 100 Free. Advanced stroke work, flip turns, racing starts; intro to interval & aerobic training. Coach placement required.

5. National Age Group Team (NAGT)
Ages 9+ • Coach Approved Season: Sep–Jun 1–3 or 4–5 practices/week Minimum 3 meets/season

For swimmers who can swim 100y of each stroke, 100 IM, and 200 Free. Advanced skills, interval & aerobic training. Tailored training; coach placement.

6. Senior Prep
Ages 10+ • Coach Approved Season: Sep–Aug ≥1 meet/month

Ages 10+ with mastery of all four strokes and equipment. Interval, aerobic, and distance training; competitive standards and monthly meet participation.

7. Select Senior Prep
Ages 11+ • Coach Approved Season: Sep–Aug ≥1 meet/month

Ages 11+ with mastery of all four strokes and equipment. Interval, aerobic, and distance training with higher competitive standards and monthly meet expectations.

8. Wolverines Senior Teams

Placement is based on a combination of training ability, commitment, and time standards.
