Westchester Aquatic Club is fully committed to Safe Sport standards and the well-being of every athlete and family.
Background & Philosophy
We are dedicated to the positive and progressive development of every swimmer in an environment that promotes team spirit, commitment, and character-building. Through positive communication and mutual respect, athletes, coaches, and parents work together to meet meaningful challenges and pursue excellence.
Roles in Westchester Aquatic Club
Athlete: Respect teammates and coaches, follow team rules, arrive on time, bring required equipment, communicate goals, maintain healthy habits, and show team pride through hard work and positivity.
Parent: Support athletes with love and encouragement, foster good health and rest, encourage a positive outlook, and value effort over outcome.
Coach: Motivate and instruct, manage training plans, meet entries, warm-ups, and feedback. Relay lineups are at the discretion of the coaching staff.
Termination of Membership
Membership is a privilege, not a right. It may be suspended or terminated to protect the club’s mission, reputation, or relationships. Actions can include removal from facilities, suspension, event disqualification, or membership termination.
Formal review occurs for discipline beyond a single-day suspension. See Code of Conduct PDFs below for details.
